Doug Gallant has been working in Co-operative Education at Dalhousie University since 2006. His initial position was that of Employer Development Manager for Dalhousie's Engineering and Computer Science Co-op office. He has been the Director of the Science, Information Technology, Engineering Co-operative Education office since January 2015. He served as Chair of CAFCE Atlantic through 2016/17 and now serves as Past-Chair and is also on the board of CEWIL Canada as Atlantic Representative. In May 2017 he graduated from Dalhousie University completing a Masters of Information Management. Doug also serves as a senior officer with 1st Field (Halifax-Dartmouth) Regiment of the Royal Canadian Artillery which is one of the oldest reserve army units in Canada. Doug lives in Bedford, Nova Scotia with his wife, Tasha and their two teenagers Alex and Abbey.
