Participates in 1 Session

Dr. Jon Callegher is the Executive Director of Job Talks, an educational media initiative that shines a positive light on less popular, unknown or misunderstood careers through in-depth research and quality interviews with workers who are passionate about their jobs. Job Talks envisions a Canada in which seemingly unappealing or unknown jobs are understood and valued as much as so-called first choice careers. A Millennial Sociologist, Jon has a Ph.D. from the University of Waterloo. He has appeared on radio, TV, and at conferences internationally, speaking about the implications of generational differences between Millennials, Gen Xers and Boomers. He is also the author of Pearson Canada's next Marketing Research textbook, 'Marketing Research for Marketers'. Jon is a professor and program coordinator at George Brown College of Applied Arts and Technology, where he leads one of Canada’s largest post-graduate marketing programs and holds a multi-year SSHRC innovation partnership grant.
